As a Radio Times magazine subscriber, how do I activate my free access?

Simply choose the Free for Radio Times Subscribers option (or click here) and click subscribe now.

Enter your subscriber number, and the monthly cost will be reduced to zero. Then fill in your name and address details and click Subscribe.

Please do not enter your card details. – If you have entered your subscriber number and this is still showing, please refresh the page and try again.

You can find your subscription number on your subscription welcome letter or email and above your address on your delivered magazine. The number is ten digits long and begins with the number '4'.

If you do not have this information to hand you can contact us to confirm your subscription number. Please provide your name, address, and select Radio Times magazine to help us identify your account.

When can I view the puzzle answers?

You can view any puzzle answer at any time by simply selecting the reveal button underneath each puzzle. You can also get hints by selecting the hints button.

What is a hint?

A hint is a letter or number that can be revealed within a puzzle. Click on ‘Hints’ to receive a random letter or number hint. You can use up to 5 hints per puzzle. If you give up completely just hit ‘reveal’. Please note you can only use the reveal function 7 days after starting the puzzle

How do I view my submitted answers?

If you go to the My Account section, you can view your previously submitted puzzles and answers underneath. Alternatively you can go back into each Puzzle and select the ‘reveal’ button.

When does the timer start?

The timer will start as soon as you open a puzzle. The timer will only pause as soon as you press save and exit and will resume when you revisit the puzzle. Once the puzzle is completed correctly the timer will stop and display the time taken to complete the puzzle.

Can I save incomplete puzzles?

If you are playing a puzzle and would like to pause and save it to finish at a later date, click ‘Save and Exit’ to pause the timer. You can save a puzzle at any point in time and go back to it via the ‘My Account ‘section.

I am having problems logging in ?

Experiencing issues whilst trying to log in can be caused by a number of different issues. Please check that you are using the correct email address password combination, do not have any browser extensions installed that may impact the use of cookies, make sure you are not using private/incognito browsing and you have the latest version of your current browser.

Can I access Radio Times Puzzles offline?

Although you need an internet connection to access the puzzles on Radio Times Puzzles, there is a handy print function, so if you prefer to complete your puzzles offline you can simply print off and puzzle at your leisure.
